(OPS301.3) Advanced Control Room Operator Applications (ACRO) - SPPA-T3000

Provides intensive practice in reading and understanding the control logic diagrams.

Description

Advanced Control Room Operator Applications SPPA-T3000 training course provides intensive practice in reading and understanding the control logic diagrams.  Through extensive and repeated hands-on practice, the course exercises promote a recognition and interpretation of the interactions between the various control algorithms.  Emphasis is placed on operational sequences during plant dynamics and the use of this knowledge to evaluate plant operations and perform troubleshooting using the logic diagrams from the SPPA-T3000 system.  Upon completion of this training, personnel are prepared to effectively interpret plant logic diagrams for plant operations and troubleshooting assistance.

Method of Instruction

Classroom instruction with training exercises and all required instructional material will be provided to each student.  Thin Client exercises will be utilized in small groups to give the student hands on experience with the system if it is available.

Course Content

Manual of functional logic blocks, SPPA-T3000 Help Manual and SPPA-T3000 logics (Operation Mode) are used to conduct the course.
