The Siemens Energy Steam Turbine Familiarization and Operations training course is designed to provide a basic understanding of the equipment and its associated auxiliary systems. The goal of the ST Familiarization and Operation course is to provide this understanding customized to each customer’s specific site. All training programs are limited to the Siemens Energy scope of supply.
The following topics are representative of those covered in the Steam Turbine Familiarization and Operation Course. Actual course content will be customized to the specific plant configuration. Classroom lecture, guided discussion, and system walk downs (only if conducted on site) when practical. Some out of class study may be assigned. All required instructional materials are provided to each student.
