(GNL101) Basic Operator Principles
Provide a background in the basic sciences, materials, equipment, and plant operating fundamentals.
Description
BASIC OPERATOR PRINCIPLES
Introduction
The Basic Operator Principles course is designed to provide a background in the basic sciences, materials, equipment, and plant operating fundamentals. The training will support the basic knowledge an operator must have in order to learn the equipment and functions necessary for power plant operation. New hire candidate power plant operators may need to be exposed to the basic fundamentals before they are able to commence power plant operator training. The goal of this training program is to give potential operators an increased understanding of the concepts, fundamentals, and terminology associated with power plant operation.
