Description
The Siemens Energy Legacy Steam Turbine Familiarization and Operations training course is designed to provide a basic understanding of the Steam turbine and its associated auxiliary systems of the former Westinghouse BB Steam Turbine Systems (Legacy Steam Turbine). The training integrates a combination of classroom instruction and associated system walk downs.
Operations and maintenance personnel perform functions vital to the safe and efficient operation of a power plant. In order to fulfill their job responsibilities, they require an understanding of the Siemens Energy legacy steam turbine, its auxiliary systems and their interrelations with balance of plant systems.
The goal of the ST Familiarization and Operation course is to provide this understanding customized to each customer’s specific site. All training programs are limited to the Siemens Energy scope of supply.
