The I&C Technician will become familiar with the various features of the SPPA-T3000™ Control System.

Description

The Process Automation - SPPA-T3000™ course is intended to give the I&C Technician a detailed understanding of the operation, control and administration of the SPPA-T3000™ control system. The I&C Technician will become familiar with the various features of the SPPA-T3000™ Control System and what can be done as the system administrator to facilitate the power plant operations and maintenance.

 

The Process Automation - SPPA-T3000™ course covers practical applications of the control system features with extensive hands-on practice in utilizing the SPPA-T3000™ workbench.

 

This course of instruction will also include an in-depth use of functional logic diagrams, including tracing logic, making parameter changes to functional logic diagrams and changing or adding logic blocks to the functional logic diagrams. Upon technician request actual plant logic can be loaded into our automation servers for plant logic exercises.

 

A unique feature of this course is flexibility. The instructor evaluates each I&C Technician to determine their level of experience and knowledge and then tailors the course to challenge the technician, ensuring all plant related questions have been answered.

 

This course is ideal for I&C Technicians or Control Room Operators who need to master the use of the control system features and need a practical understanding of power plant process automation.

Courses will be conducted at the Siemens Energy Orlando Laboratory Training Facilities.  All required instructional materials are provided to each student.

Courses may be conducted at Customer Site with the Virtual Process Trainer.
