The Evaluating Combined Cycle Plant Efficiency for Improved Operations course is designed to provide an understanding of the combined cycle power plant. Discussions of the Rankine Cycle and how a gas turbine works together with a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) and a Steam Turbine will lead to how combined cycle performance can be affected, either improved or reduced.
The goal of this course is to provide an understanding of the theory, calculations, and practical application of plant operational efficiency to better analyze and optimize overall plant performance.
