Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:
- Describe the Excitation System Overview
- Identify the Major Components in the Excitation Package.
- Develop a good understanding of the cabinet supplied wiring diagrams
- Familiarize themselves with the available screens in the Touch Panel
Objectives for Simotion Scout
Upon successful completion of this second day, the student should be able to:
- Start Simotion Scout.
- Open a project.
- Properly configure the PG/PC interface and connect to the existing hardware.
- Understand how to upload the complete project for a backup to aid consulting hot line.
- Understand how to download to the hardware if directed to do so by the hotline.
- Understand how to open the Drive Control Charts and monitor the logic.
- Know how to get help on the logic blocks
