(DCS310.4) SPPA-T3000 for the I&C Technician

Familiarize the I&C Technician with the operation, control and administration of the SPPA-T3000 control system.

Description

The SPPA-T3000™ for the I&C Technician course is intended to familiarize the I&C Technician with the operation, control and administration of the SPPA-T3000 control system. The I&C Technician will become familiar with the various features of the SPPA-T3000™ Control System and what can be done as the system administrator to facilitate the power plant operations and maintenance.

The SPPA-T3000™ for the I&C Technician course covers a practical introduction to the control system with extensive hands-on practice in utilizing the SPPA-T3000™ workbench for administration of the control system including user management and control system configuration.

This course of instruction will also include an in-depth use of functional logic diagrams, including tracing logic for troubleshooting, making parameter changes to functional logic diagrams and changing or adding logic blocks to the functional logic diagrams.

A unique feature of this course is flexibility. The instructor evaluates each technician to determine their level of experience and knowledge and then tailors the course to challenge each and every technician, ensuring all of their plant related questions have been answered.

Upon completion of this training, personnel are prepared to effectively maintain the plant’s SPPA-T3000™ control system.
