(OIT101.5) Establishing a Foundation for Operations: Automation Functions, Operations and Troubleshooting in SPPA-T3000

Establishing a Foundation for Operations: Automation Functions, Operations and Troubleshooting in SPPA-T3000

Description

Establishing a Foundation for Operations: Automation Functions, Operations and Troubleshooting in SPPA-T3000 training course provides instruction in the  functional operations of Automation Functions (AF) Diagrams using representative examples from various Siemens Energy SPPA-T3000 Control System applications. Through extensive and repeated demonstrations, the course content promotes a recognition and interpretation of the interactions between the various control algorithms.

Emphasis is placed on operational sequences during plant dynamics and the use  of this knowledge to evaluate plant operations and perform troubleshooting using the logic (AF) diagrams from the SPPA-T3000 system.  Upon completion of this training, personnel should be prepared to effectively interpret plant logic diagrams for plant operations and troubleshooting assistance.

Topics Covered:

o    Define Function Group Concept
o    Logic Diagram Layout
o    Input and Output Signals
o    Following signals
o    Page and Signal Numbering
o    Diagram Navigation

Operational Sequences - Use of logics to determine component operation for various plant conditions such as (actual content may be modified):
o    Automatic and Manual Control
o    Pre-start Conditions & Selections
o    Cold Plant Starting & Loading
o    Load Monitoring & Changing
o    Plant Shutdown from Full Power
o    Alarms & Responses
o    Determine Operator Action Blocking and Enabling

Troubleshooting – Use of Logic Diagrams for troubleshooting failed operations such as (actual content may be modified):
