(OIT101.2) Instrumentation and Measurement Principles
Instrumentation and Measurement Principles
Description
The Instrumentation and Measurement Principles training course is designed to provide an understanding of typical instrumentation present throughout the power plant. The student should become familiar with the construction and theory of operation associated with typical instrumentation.
The Instrumentation Principles course covers basic maintenance and troubleshooting necessary to restore faults in the plant’s instrumentation system. The training also discusses calibration requirements, basic procedures, and test equipment requirements for maintaining typical field instrumentation.
Upon completion of this training, personnel should have a fundamental understanding of construction, operation, and maintenance necessary to maintain typical plant instrumentation.
