(SER401) Long Term Training Program

The Long-Term Training Program allows plant management to select the number of weeks of training that is within their budget and needs, with a minimum requirement of 2 weeks per calendar year for the 3 or 5 year option. During the fall of the year preceding the calendar year for training, a plan will be discussed and scheduled based on customer input.

Description

Introduction

Many customers have found that additional training is required beyond the training received during plant commissioning.  This training often requires planning well in advance to ensure the training budget is available.

The Long-Term Training Program was created to provide power plants with an annual training program to support plant operation beyond commissioning.  This program is set up as a 3 year or 5-year option, providing customers a fixed price for budgeting purposes.

To support year to year changing training needs, the Long-Term Training Program allows customers to choose any training offered by Siemens Energy Plant Operations Support and Training Team. Customers enrolled in the program have preferred customer status when scheduling annual training to support the customer’s availability and scheduling needs.

Life of the Plant Training

Training needs change year to year over the lifetime of the plant. One year the plant may have high turnover, requiring basic training for the new hires. The next year may call for advanced training for seasoned operators or in-depth Instrument and Control training for experienced I&C Technicians. Plant needs are ever changing based on personnel experience and plant operations.

The Long-Term Training Program allows our expert trainers to develop a plan to suit your real-time changing needs.
